Yesterday I was home alone and I had a terrible sinus headache. I knew if I went went into the bedroom, Max and Sadie would sit on the sofa and bark at anyone who might dare to walk past our house. So I decided it was best to lay on the sofa and rest my pounding head on the sofa.I must have drifted off to sleep for a minute or 20 when all of the sudden I heard someone calling my name, it was a mans voice but it wasn't Ken....
Diana.... Diana...
I barely opened my eyes and I looked down and I saw Max with his happy little face looking up at me and my groggy sinus medicated head thought....Max, you can talk...I always thought you'd call me Mommy not Diana....
Diana.... Hellllllllllllllllllooooo.......Dianaaaaaaa
Now Max is talking but his lips aren't moving....
My eyes jolted all the way open and I sat up quickly thinking I was losing my mind....
I know you are home....pick up the phone....hello Diana
I turned the ringers off on the phone but forgot to turn off the answering machine volume! LOL
But wouldn't it be nice if Max really could talk, I'm pretty sure his first words would be GIVE ME A TREAT NOW!
TOO FUNNY!!!!! I have a white boxer named Roxie and I'm sure if she could talk she'd say "C'mon, let's go play! You know you wanna play! Here, here's my ball. You throw it and I'll bring it back!" Gotta love the dogs!

ReplyDeleteOMG too funny! I would LOVE if my dog could talk, you have no idea how many times I tell him that I wish he could talk. Great and now I sound like a loon for typing it, Oh well, I'm sure the dog lvoers understand LOL.

that is funny. i had something similar happen once.
ReplyDeleteMy mother bought me a cell phone because i was driving home from work late in the evening over a long distance. it had a waterfall theme on it that i liked so I put that on the phone. I was in the bathroom one day, right after my husband used the kirby to blow out our water pipes and i heard this bubbling noise. It sounded metallic, like bubbles in a metal pipe.
Later I heard the same noise in the car and couldn't figure out where in the world it was coming from. Was i hearing things that weren't there. Did I have a brain tumor?
At work i heard it again. I stood up and shouted. Ok somebody please tell me they hear that noise and that I'm not hearing sounds that aren't really there.
They did. Someone said, "it sounds like water". Then it hit me. The ring on the waterfall theme was the sound of falling water.
