5am: bark and whimper because we realllly have to potty
5:05: don’t mind if we sleep in the human bed with you do you?
5:06 to 5:40: grooming, hey don’t complain, there are cheap motels with machines you’d have to put a quarter into to get this much bed shaking and you're getting this for FREE
5:45: clinging to the edge of the bed while the bed hog dogs take up the rest of the bed
6:00: synchronized snoring provided by Ken and Sadie
6:58: finally drift off to sleep again
7:00: face licks and ear sniffs, is it breakfast time yet?
Where would be be without our pets?

LOL. That is so cute only because I didn't have to live through it! Nora just runs back and forth from door to my bed begging me to get up. If only they could talk!

ReplyDeleteBut they're so cute! How can you resist those deep brown eyes... looking up at you... pleading... and that innocent playful friend, begging you to get up... using a squeaky toy right by your ear...

Aaaaaaah. It sounds like they only have one bodyclock, not a weekday and weekend (wanting to sleep in) bodyclock like hus humans!
ReplyDeleteLife would be so boring with out those wonderful creatures... Cookie was very frustrated with me Saturday night.> I got a a cleaning whim and was cleaning out a closet around 1 am.. Steve was out of town... so she keeps staring at me .. whimpering.. MOM TIME FOR BED MOOOOOOOMMMM if she could talk .. that would be what she would be saying.. finally she plopped herself down next to the bed and her nose was peeking out from the dust ruffle and she let out a forlorn sigh LOL.. it was so funny.. she was very happy when I finally decided it was bedtime... those furry babies are the best!!
