Healthy You Challenge Check In Week 49, 2009

Welcome to week 49 or as I like to call it, life in the crazy lane! Is anyone else feeling frazzled with all of the end of the year commitments and tasks?

So what does MY busy life mean for all of you? I had considered putting the HYC on hiatus until the end of the year but instead I opted to stop welcoming new members for two weeks and take care of that on January 5, 2010!

Through the end of the year you'll still be able to sign in on Tuesdays (even if your name hasn't been added to the blog roll yet you can still sign in) but You won't see the welcome list of new members again  until January. Its just one less step for me and I'll be able to take care of HYC stuff from my phone if I'm away, juggling the blogroll from the phone...not fun at all.

One other thing to note: Chubby Chick is hosting a giveaway on her blog.

WELCOME!!

I want to lose it (for real)

  3. Thank you for taking the time to keep the HYC up - it means so much to so many of us.

Life is really crazy right now, but I'm looking forward to having a couple of weeks off.

  4. Second day of my weight loss journey. I did great yesterday but am sore from "real" exercise.

I look forward to my weigh in next Monday. I REALLY want another badge for my blog!

  5. On Thursday I lost 3.2 pounds at Weight Watchers. Yeah! Hoping to have a good number this week too. Things are going great. Now if I can just get on a regular exercise routine.

  6. Just trying to take care of myself. Emotions are high. December stings but I'm not diving into the fridge or burying my face in a pie so I consider it success. ;)

  7. Boy, a few weeks away for work and I fall apart for my exercising. So hard to start again too. I need a good kick in the butt to get started again now!

  8. Hopefully done adjusting to some food changes this week and hopefully a bit more down in weight on Sunday :)

I'm thinking my goal for the holidays is to stay the same as I am now, or lose some weight. Going away for the holidays so it's gonna be a challenge to keep control on things.

  9. Hi all! I am making a big effort to get back on track now that my marathon is over. If you need more motivation, especially over the holidays, I have tons to give....head to my blog!

  10. Have fun on your holiday, Scale Junkie!

I'm hoping to do a little catching up and recommitting over the holidays. I really, really need to!

  11. Thank you for continuing the HYC - even though it might not always be evident in my updates (like this week *sigh*), it does help to know I have to be somewhat accountable somewhere. :)

I'm starting to feel the stress of all the obligations and things I feel I *need* to get done. This always seems to be a slippery slope of a time for me to slip up in ways unrelated to food, which I did today. I am unhappy and ashamed of myself, but I was the only one who did this.

  12. Thank you for being here...I need someone to listen to me. :)
I've had a cold this week. So my eating has been off and on....sometimes I'm really hungry and other times I don't feel like eating. Drinking a lot of tea though. Feeling stressed and emotional but keeping my head above water one hour at a time.

  13. Thanks for keeping up with the site. It's a really hectic time for all and your committment is appreciated.
So far, my week has been okay. I walked with the pup Monday and plan to again today, even though it's coooold. She doesn't mind, so I won't either. Great motivation!
My goal is to avoid stress eating, which isn't easy for me. If the families would just stop competing for our time, maybe I'd be okay.
    Arghh.
I'm hanging in there. Hope you all are too.
