Healthy You Challenge Week 4, 2012

Hi everyone! How did you do with your goals last week? I ended up doing great with my goal to stay hydrated. This weeks goal is to increase exercise...but I'm baby stepping this one. I'm not going to start doing X amount per day and then beat myself up when I don't stay with it. I'm going to do a reasonable amount of exercise or some active outing each day. What do you have planned this week?

  2. I am doing good. I am back to where I started @ 49 lbs lost. And I have been exercising almost every day. I plan to go on a long walk tomorrow.

  4. I am going to take a cue from you and baby step it. I get discouraged when I do not see any progress although I haven't really been doing much besides Zumba classes. Congrats to all of you on your loss so far! Keep up the great work!

  6. I"m sort of stalled with my weight loss right now, and I know that I need to amp up the exercise in order to see a change. That's the goal this week. Calorie burn!

  7. This past weekend, I was really struggleing but I'm trying my best. Weight isn't coming off as fast as I had hoped but maybe it will show when I take my inches :)

  9. Hi, I am new here. So, this is Week 4. I hv challenge myself to make my New Year's resolution to happen this year around. Though I hv going through a "fail" weeks, am not giving up. Glad to have found weight loss buddy here. Good luck everyone!

  10. I know I'm a little late, but I would love to join your challenge! I joined blogspot to find people looking to lose weight and get healthy like me, so I'm glad I found your blog! I think my goal this week will be the same as yours, to exercise more. I want to make fitness a consistent, permanent part of my life, something that I can stick to. I just got a new HRM to track my calories burned, and so far I'm doing well! :)

  11. Finally getting some activity in! It's been on the back burner for quite a while. I always feel so much better when I walk or do the bike and then always think "Why did I let it go for so long????" :-) Lost 2.8lbs this week, so I'm happy! Here's to healthy choices!

  12. Had a hard week but still managed to lose 2 pounds. At 6.6 lost so far! I really plan to amp up my workouts this week.

  14. Last week was a very emotionally draining week for me but I still saw a 3lb loss on the scale for my Monday weigh in. I only lasted 4 days on my no added salt goal for last week but I was ok with it. This week my goal is reduce the amount of processed foods I allow myself.

  15. I've started blogging again, after taking a break and putting on some pounds I am hoping to get back to where I was and then continue working towards my ultimate weight loss goal.

  16. I have a tough week ahead with 2 birthday events for dh and our days being out of the regular routine with exam schedules as the semester ends. I aim to fit 3 workouts in before the week ends. Since it's already Tuesday, we'll see how that goes! :P As our boot camp instructor used to say, "just get 'er done!"

  17. I did fairly okay on the water last week but could still use a lot of work on getting it all in. As far as exercise..not sure if I can up my time too much more this week but will definitely try!
